Filter - combustible or non-combustible

Hi, all. I was curious about whether the filters and filter banks regularly used in AHU are combustible or non-combustible? Do we need to provide some fire-sprinkler system for this AHU normally? Where can I find the detail information about this?

Filters generally used in AHUs are washable and are madeup of HDPE. But microglass fibre filters are in vogue now. If HDPE then combustible. Fire dampers are sufficient.

For example, Farr Riga-flo and 30/30, there are some options of UL classification (such as class 1 or class 2). Does this classification determine the combustible or non-combustible.?

After a second thought I preferred to use the terms flammable and nonflammable. For 'combustible' means which can give out energy after burning. (sounds ironical)
