NX 2007, i'm trying to use the "find components" dialog,(NOT find component) finding a component in an assembly by its "DESCRIPTION" attribute but the search filters don't seem to work, and there's no hover over help to describe them.
Surely i can search for the description attribute name, if i know part of the full description attribute, and find all components that contain it?
the filters are: =, != , >,<,>=, >=, exists. none really seem to work apart from exists, so it seems like its only looking for the attribute, not the value.
Any help, much appreciated

I played around with it and found it to be pretty unpredictable.
It is case sensitive, if I use correct case in the description title and value, it will find the components, not if not.
That is when using the "=", if I try one of the other qualifiers, i get very unexpected results.
I did not get the wildcard * to work.
