find response modification factor(nonlinear static analyze(push-over))

Hi everybody,
I need to model a 3D sandwich panel wall (or maybe a one story building with 3D sandwich panel system) then perform a nonlinear static analyze (push-over) to find R factor (Response modification factor) of that.

I know I must learn Ansys or Abaqus for this purpose but I have not any experience with any of them. Can you please give me guidance which software is better for this purpose?
