Hi I am trying to simulate the reservoir release in the river using HEC-RAS model. In the upstream of the river reach I have a dam. I am using the time series of the reservoir release as the upstream boundary. I want to find out the time how long does it take for the release in the upstream to come to the certain point in the river. I don't know exactly how can I calculate through the output of the HEC RAS model. One option I thought was to find out the delay in peak based on the time to max between the upstream and the specific location. I hope my question is clear. Eagarly waiting for any suggestions.

Another question I would like to ask is about the error in HECRAS model. The model is run successfully but when I try to view the unsteady time series, then the error "Subscript out of range" pops up. Please give advise to remove this error. I ran the model for 25 days. When I run the model for 5 days it is working fine.

Thanks

Jd
