Finding equivalent pushing force from applied displacement

Hello,

I am working on a project where I am looking for the push force to fit a stringer into a tight fitting tool. To do so, I decided to start with a basic model of a solid rod entering a tube. (Shown in figure)
There will be friction as the rod is slightly larger than the tube diameter. Translating this into Abaqus, I am applying a displacement so that the rod is inserted into the hollow tube. Note that the force has to surpass the point of static friction. How can I do this in Abaqus to get the push force at the top of the rod? Additionally, what could be a way to check if this force is correct? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

You can request RF for the nodes with BC in this direction and sum the values from all nodes or apply the BC via rigid body/coupling constraint and read a single reaction force from its node.

if there is interference there will be more than just friction reaction; you will need to deform one or both parts.
