Finding the initial shape of adeformed structure

Hi;
I want to know how can i find the initial shape of a deformed structure.
I have a filament wound pressure vessel and i know that the optimum shape(after deformation) for the dome is a geodesic dome so i want to know the undeformed shape which produces that geodesic shape after loading with uniform pressure.

Is it a linear or non linear problem?

If linear then the answer is obvious, if non-linear then that is very interesting. in my opinion.
