What is the flow and residual head requirement at a fire hydrant?

What is the type of construction, the area of the building, and the applicable fire code? This will influence the fire flow. Also, is the structure separated using interior fire walls?

Do you have a copy of the local fire code for your jurisdiction...IFC, UFC, etc??? It is typically spelled out pretty clear in there based on what Stookeyfpe stated? If not, if you give the info that Stookeyfpe stated, then some one here may be able to help..
