Hi
Pre Eng building has Fire Wall Partition. Wall design for 2Hr fire. All outside walls design by Pre-Eng building Engineer.

I would like to find out detail at connection point of partition wall to exterior wall.
Thanks for your time.

Since fire ratings of assemblies such as this are done by Underwriter's Laboratories (UL),that would be a good place to start.

My guess would be 4 to 6 inches of concrete and NO welded wire fabric.

Trirdsavani:

Were you talking about the intersection of a wood stud wall, or a metal stud wall, with the metal wall of the PEMB?

Also, are there any X braces in the sidewall or endwall that would penetrate the wall at the intersection?

Don't think you will have any special wall framing.

Structural connection between the partition wall and the exterior wall can be achieved by a connector plate at the top of the wall and nailing into the floor sheathing at the bottom of the wall.

Dry wall support at the intersection is typically provided by drywall clips or a 1x6 attached to the back of the partition’s terminal stud.

As to your proposed method of construction, you can probably install a masonry wall for about the same cost as the steel construction on your project. The masonry wall will provide better long term performance against the corrosive chemicals in your building.
