Does anyone know the fire-rating requirement of exterior sheets of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) sandwich panels in National Fire Code of Canada?
For example, in the state of CA the exterior sheets have to be CC1 rated in hospitals, schools, and other public buildings if the skylight is a certain percentage of the roof over the building, or the room, etc. They are one of the toughest states I am aware of, possibly NJ might be as well. Most other buildings across the US do not require CC1 exterior sheets. However, the interior sheet must be fire rated. I am wondering whether there is any fire rating requirement by National Fire Code of Canada about exterior fiberglass sheets.
Thanks for any reply.
