fire system horn placement

I don't understand the code for a fire alarm system where a 4 unit building is being updated. Would the horns go in the common areas of the hallway? Or in each bedroom??

2. find out where that code says they have to be

3. ask the local ahj what they require


we require minimum 70/ 75 db in each bedroom along with a/v in breezeways if there are any.

You need to install a NFPA 13R sprinkler system. You are in Philadelphia. Commence the design. Seek professional engineering assistance.
