According to TAC (Tariff Advisory Committee, Indian Fire Protection Regulations) , If a plant fire protection system has fire water supply to Hydrants, water monitors and sprinklers with deluge valves (spray) in warehouses, and if Sprinkler water demand is taken from the , then the Hydrant Header line, then the pumping capacity of the plant and Fire water Storage capacity can be governed by Total Sprinkler Water Capacity.
Now, we have two warehouses of flammable Pulp and Fiber where sprinklers with deluge valves are conceptualized. The storage area of each warehouse are divided into hazard zones and one central zone and two adjacent zones are considered for fire and spray activation.
Now when I am estimating fire water pumping of whole plant based on sprinkler water demand alone,
1. Shall we take the plant pumping capacity and reservoir demand (two hours of pumping capacity) by sprinkler water demand of three hazard zones (one central and two adjacent) in one warehouse only ?
2. Or the pumping capacity will be total sprinkler capacity of all hazard zones of a warehouse?
