I am looking for any information regarding selling a product made in the USA and sold to a company inside the USA with the intent to export the product to Australia. 1) Is there a need to obtain the Approval certification from Australia for electrical products. 2) As I understand the information so far the product must be manufactured to CE standards and display the CE mark. Can anyone point me in the right direction for further information?

Thanks

Im not sure if this is the right subforum for this question. This forum does not see as much visitors as others.
Does CE-marking apply to Australia? If so, under what Directive do you need to apply CE-marking?

PS: CE has to be read in conjunction with a directive. 'CE' never is a standard. A harmonized standard can be applied to fullfill the Essential Safety Requirements of a certain Directive which requires CE-marking where applicable.
