I am collecting information for a series of articles I am writing about design considerations for saltwater fishing lures. I've searched high and low for information about this topic but haven't been able to find anything worthwhile. I apologize if this is a little off topic, but I would truly appreciate any general tips or book suggestions you could provide to get me started.

what exactly are you trying to determine for the design? hydrodynamic considerations? probability of fish attention? (start with a spherical fish....) lol. if there are hydro considerations, a basic fluid mech textbook should provide you with any info that you need...
