Does UG NX have a fit to profile command? i am tring to extrude a half circle to a full circle. Is there a command like in Ideas were you can select the first profile to extrude to the second?

I'm not quite sure that I understand the question (not being an Ideas user). Are you trying to change a 1/2 circle into a full circle (2d geometry) or are you trying to intersect an extruded 1/2 circle shape with an extruded full circle shape?

mousi,
One solution to your problem may be to use bridge curves. They would not create an extrusion as you asked for, but they can be used to create sheet bodies, which can be used to create your solid. Or you may find it simpler to use bridge surface to create the needed geometry. As with most things in UG, there are several ways to accomplish most things. Use the UG help documentation to walk you through bridge curve, bridge surface creation. I hope this helps!

Another solution is through free form features, 'through curves' select string 1, half circle (arc and line), select string 2, full circle. Directional arrows must be in the same direction! if you have problems, divide the full circle into 2 parts.
