Fitting material model to Force-displacement Data in COMPOSTIE BELT, ABAQUS

Dear All,

I am trying to model a glass-fiber reinforced, toothed rubber Belt in Abaqus V-6.12.1. The material and, therefore, the inputs for the CAE model are completely unknown.

I have performed Force(F)-displacement(X) (Both Loading and Unloading) tests in laboratory along Fibre direction as well as orthogonal to fibre direction. Now I have F-X data points for each direction. I have searched through internet, literature, and Abaqus documentation that I can fit hyperelastic model to Rubber-like materials but the problem was that I don't know the individual material for the rubber and fibre-glass and therefore, performed the test on actual belt piece. Also Abaqus requires Stress-Strain data if Hyperelastic material is unknown.

Can any body suggest me, if I can convert that F-X data to Stress-Strain data. Would it be correct to do F/A and X/L to obtain Stress-Strain values ?
Can any body suggest me how can I extract material parameters for my CAE model? May be some postprocessing using MATLAB or curve fitting tools.


Your suggestions will help me move a step forward.
