Problem: I have fittings certified acc. to SA 815 WPS32750 to use for a U - Stamp vessel designed acc. to ASME VIII Div.1. As explained in the topic above and looking at Table UHA-23, it seems that this material is not accepted to use in Division 1. Am I right?
Do I have to re-certify them? Acc. to what allowable standard do you suggest?
Thanks

Looking at Sec II, Part D, 2017 Ed., Table 1A, pg 134, I find SA-182 F53, UNS 2750 listed. Permitted to 650 F for Sec VIII, Div. 1.

Can it be certified to this, forging vs fitting? Is it perhaps multiple-certified already? Info SA-815

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Also finding SA-815 32760, Sec VIII, Div. 1, 600 F.

Mike

Possibly, what is it, is it welded? Might have a look at UG-11, especially (d). And good luck :)

Not sure one is needed (UG-11(d)(5)), if all relevant UG-11(d) hoops are jumped thru. At least is it un-welded, bound to help.
