Fittings in Steam tracing tubing

Hi,
Clients DGS prevents the usage of Unions in tubing connecting the manifold and the tracers on the context of leaks. It nearly impossible to route the tubing to the tracer due to rigidity issues with tubing.Please advise on any alternate methods of joining two tubing pieces and leak preventive measure if unions are recommended.
