Fixed sketch lines on drawing still moving

Hi everyone,
I have a drawing where I need to add some sketch lines to identify a specific area so I sketch them and and add dimensions to get the lines in the proper places. Once in place I delete the dimensions and and a FIX relationship to them but can still drag them even after they are fixed. On another machine and different drawing the lines stay "FIXED" and can not be dragged. What could be causing the lines to keep moving after being "FIXED"?

Thanks,
PD

I'd like to see an example of that behavior. I never use the fix relation myself, but tried now on few examples, and whenever I apply the fix relation it remains unmovable once the relation is applied.

PD,

Make sure your lines are being drawn on the view you want rather than on the "paper space" behind the view or one of the other views. First, click on the view to make it the active one (you can even freeze this, I think with a selection from the RMB). Then draw your lines, dimension to locate, fix them in place, etc.

You want your lines to move with the view. For that to happen they have to be drawn "on" the view and dimensioned/fixed relative to it.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. Will give them a try.
