Fixture Offsets

Hi, I've been using NX8 for a couple of months and whilst I'm really enjoying the level of explicit control I'm struggling with a few things I consider to be fairly basic. Fixture offsets is one of them. I've tried insert -> geometry -> MCS and allocated a fixture number but it's not showing up in the post processor output so I guess I'm missing something. Also Fadal's use E 1-99 fixture offsets, any idea how I get the post processor to output in this format - I've been manually editing the post for now. I have CAST and a subscription to igetit but something isn't clicking for me. Thanks in advance.

Although this may seem to be a basic task many machine tools define fixture offsets different ways and users are even more creative in how they want them applied. See the attached post. What I did was to create a new WORD ( N/C Data Definitions – WORD tab in Post Builder) called E_1 by copying the G word and changing the Leader to E.
On the Rapid Move event I added the new E_1 word to the first block and edited the output to a user defined expression $mom_fixture_offset_value So now when a 1 is placed in the Fixture Offset field of the MCS the output looks like this.
G00 G90 E01 X2. Y4.4798 S917 M03

Firstly, many thanks for your help.

I followed your steps and all seemed well except the fixture offset outputs as a single digit i.e. E1, E2 etc, so I changed the leader to E0 and this gave me E01, E02 and so on. Is this the correct way to get the desired output?
