I have a part that needs flame hardening. It is a wheel (700m dia) and weighs about 300 kilos. Alloy is cast equivalent of 4340.
I propose to flame harden in-house and I have been searching for 2-3 sets of burners that can also spray water for quenching. Please see a representative picture from
Budget is a constraint and at this time of COVID 19 cannot consider investing in a complete new system.

I shall be thankful if any member can guide me towards a set of fairly used burners.

Thanks in anticipation.

Air Liquide Welding has a very elaborate catalog for oxy-fuel gas burners/preheaters/torches/..., that are of good quality and have a good price setting. They also can supply 2nd hand burners, depending on availibility. They regularly offer new equipment and they buy the old burners back.
I do not know if they have a similar service where you are, but it might be worth a call to your local representative. Lincoln Electric has recently (2-3 years ago) bought (acquisition and merger) Air Liquide, so they should also be able to transfer your request to an Air Liquide collegue.

Thanks kingNero for your post. I tried to contact the local representative in Lagos, I have no response. I shall call their office in Europe tomorrow.
