flange to flange connection of Gate valve and Check valve 1

Check valve and Gate valve can be installed flange to flange connection. There is any bolting problem during maintenance and at what size.

So long as the check valve doesn't need any room outside the body for the flapper or disc to more then there is no issue other than you would find for any other flange connection.

Wafer checks won't work if the direction of flow is into the valve.

No bolting problem, as LittleInch correctly answers, but there might be functional problems!

All checkvalves must be correctly dimensioned according to flow, not valve and pipesize, and might differ in size from these. Checkvalves might also be recommended to placed xx pipe diameters from any flow-disturbing component, including valves.
