To all experts here I just want to get some Idea what would be the best design or probably most suitable design for our flare system. At present we are flaring 100 mmscfd of gas to flare our operating pressure is 5 to 7 bar. Current flare system has a seal water type. To be honest its my first time to work on this type of flare. As I was observing the flare I have notice the black smoke on the flame. In my experience if the flare is equipped with blower fan it can eliminate the Black Smoke.. Am I right?? is it possible to combine Blower Fan and Water Seal system for Flare which we got now?

Try contacting "John Zinc".
The steamsupply of 2"-3" is just routed to the top and connected to the tip, mostly with one or two loops for expanding.

Consider a few sulfur related compounds ... hydrogen sulfide, thiosulfates, mercaptans - more; for example. Some 40 CFR 60 series or international standards suggest envirnmental interest -- total flow, BTU, sulfurs, N2, C..., etc. Perhaps sample taps, returns, utilities, etc. in flaring system are a good plan now. Perhaps. Flare header connections. Could be interesting now; upsetting later; or not. ;-)
