Flare Stack Flame Monitoring Options

Hi,

I'm doing a bid evaluation for flare stack and try to evaluate the options for pilot flame monitoring: thermocouples, UV or infrared monitors, ot acoustic monitors.

Do you have expierence with any of this? What is your favorite? Why?

Thanks, bmoorthy, I've read this standard. I'm interested more in practical side of the issue.
