i need to find the instantaneous efficiency of the flat-plate collector using hottel-whillier-bliss equation, when the collector is connected to an single-effect absorption chiller (70kw cooling capacity)

i am confused with what will the inlet and outlet temperatures of the collector be?

thanks

Temperatures will relate to insolation. Do you know the insolation rate?

Panel mfg will tabulate temps given this information.

thanks for your reply "willard3"

i have the insolation values

and i'm assuming that the generator inlet temp will be the outlet temp of the fluid from the collector

my question is what will be the inlet temp to the solar collector? is it the case that the outlet temp of the generator is the inlet temp of the solar collector

thanks

You should hire a competent designer. This purpose of this site is not to do free designs.

You need some basic thermodynamics/fluids/heat transfer which can be had in Engineering school.
