Is there a way to flatten walls done in arch Desktop where it retains the shape of the wall and doors? I tried Flatten, but it does not do what I think it should be doing. The doors usally vanish and replaced with straight line.

Thanks

It is not really necessary. I just wanted to know in case I need to do it.

I have had drawings that were 5 megs or so. Ive gotten it down to 1 or 2 megs by exploding getting rid of the extra lines. It was just time consuming.

I think that might have changed in AutoCAD 2006. Because, I have seen that many hugh files Like I used to.

Firerunner,

do You have ADT, or ACAD? In ADT You can use "_AecCreateHLR".
Or Do You have proxyelements?
