flatwise compression

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a formula for flatwise compression or is it obtained only experimentaly?

Just to add to the complexity the only information I have are the maximum bending stress, core shear stress (it is a honeycomb structure), E and G modulus.
