I'm looking for a fabric that is flexible and easily can be bent over double-bent surfaces without crease. The fabric should consist of fibers and is supposed to work as reinforcement in a thermoplastic.

Thanks

Fiber Glass fabric is available in an almost infinite varity of styles. Drapability is done through the weave. Satin weaves (where multiple threads are woven in parallel) are the most drapable.

Drapeability is due to the ability of a woven fabric to shear between yarns and to stretch on the bias. Any impregnation of the fabric will significantly affect this property. Draping technique is very important to preventing wrinkles. Draping a fabric to a compound conour requires that the weave be distorted from a 0/90 orientation.
