I am trying to source an alt part to one that is prescribed in the IPB for P3B. Pno 920372-5. It is a water drain off the overboard bleed air duct and must conform to LAC-23-952.
it has dim of .5inch ID and .125inch wall thickness.
The spec states that it is tested at 400F and as it is close to the turbine section it gets this hot on shutdown as nacelle cooling takes care of excess temp in flight naturally.
This PN is approx $300US for 5inch as a part.
Does anyone know of a legal traceable alternative as it is to be fitted on a military A/C? Or if this hose is avaliable in bulk?? If numbers are good and it meets spec etc I will get concession and engineers tech signoff to fit. I do nothing illegal that would compromise the A/C safety.
