I am looking to add a floating suction to an existing tank. What I want to do is to prepare a spec and data sheet to purchase the floating suction. I need a sample data sheet and a spec which I can modify to suite my condition.

Isn't writing a spec and a data sheet for a floating suction a little overkill.

I purchased about a dozen tanks recently that had many floating suctions. All I specified was the minimum float height, maximum float height, outlet nozzle location, pipe diameter and material. For an existing tank, you would have to specify tank diameter too. Send this info to a tank vendor and see what they come back with.
