I wanted to see if anybody knows of any classes that go over floodplain delineation and/or doing the LOMR or CLOMR applications. I've been looking around and haven't seen too much. I would be able to go just about anywhere in the continental US if the class is good enough to warrant it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Do you have to be a surveyor to actually submit LOMR or CLOMR?

My co-worker foes to FEMA/National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD a few times a year for training.

I took a very good course from Haestad years ago (3 day course). Now that Bently has bought Haestad, I can not find a similar course offering. There is a book from Haestad by the teacher of the course which gets good reviews on Amazon:

If you Google "hec ras training courses", there are a number of courses sponsored by universities across the U.S.
