Florida Building Code 2004

I am trying to decide on building classification/Ocupancy Group for a parking garage per new florida building 2004. I need to use the allowable increases in area and height per section 406.3.6.

Can anyone help me find the definition of "interior area" as mentioned in the above referred section of the code.
