We are currently upgrading a flotation reagents preparation system which involves SIPX,Copper sulphate, sodium cyanide & lime.
As I have read a typical system would include a mixing tank & a holding tank.
Currently our client doesn't have a holding tank and uses two tanks that operate as mixing and holding tanks at the same time.
The maintenance team complains about pipeline blocking.
Is there a possibility that the above is a result of poor blending ?
A typical system design should always include a mixing tank & a holding tank ? And if yes why ?
Is there a bibliography source in order to justify the need for having a mixing tank and a holding tank.
Thanks in advance.
