Flow losses from inflow to outflow

I am trying to figure out why my outflow is less than my inflow on a concrete box culvert. I don't have any additional flows entering or leaving the culvert. Does the program somehow calculate a loss of a minor amount of the flow in the culvert?

Are you asking about a lower volume or a lower peak flow? A lower peak flow is usually due to the routing effects and is to be expected. A lower volume usually means that you need to increase your time span in order to include the entire inflow and outflow volume. (The volumes are calculated over the specified time span.)
