Flow measurement on Cement Slurry

Does anyone have any experience with flow metering in cement slurry applications? We are looking at flowrates between 50 and 500 GPM, with pressures between 1 psig and 70 psig. Flow is pure Cement Slurry (similar to Portland cement), no other solid add-ons. I have been suggested a Mag meter with PTFE liner and Tantalum electrodes, but am not sure how good the mag meter will read cement slurry.

I have used a mag flow meter to measure lime slurry with no problems.

If you use a magmeter, use a protective orifice and bullet electrodes. THe orifice will deflect the bigger chunks and reduce wear on the liner. The bullet electrodes will be scoured clean and resist coating. Stay under 12 feet/second fluid velocity to minimize abrasion on the system.
