Good Day

I have a case that I want you to explain in detail
Let's start ..

If we have a covered water tank, and we open a small hole from the top to drain the gases.
We also have another water tank, but it is uncovered.
They are all at 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
What is the difference between the two cases:

1-Is the flow rate the same?

2-Is the gas drain time the same?

3-Which one drains the gas faster?

You can represent this mathematically regardless of the accuracy of the data (if you can)

The logic is corrupted
Second tank is uncovered. Second tank has neither a cover nor a hole lid. How do the gases get into tank if there is no a barrier between the tank vapor space and atmosphere?

If this is a student post please use the student forum as it looks like a question from a tutor to me.

Also please ask for help, not demand it (I want you to...)

But what gases?? and gases vent the y don't drain. Flow rate of what?
What pressure exists before you make a "hole"

Nothing here makes sense at the moment.
