I am wondering if I can paint two or more surfaces with fluorescent paint with each surface glowing a different colour (perhaps one yellow another blue) and being able to make only one or more glow with several blacklights by changing the wavelenght of the light being emitted by the blacklight in use.
So if the wavelenghth (of the blacklight in use) is just below 4000 angstrom units only the yellow glows. When you lower the wavelenth more (by using a different blacklight) both glow. Lower the wavelength further results in only the blue paint glowing.
This means each paint has a different wavelength range in which it will glow.
In this way I hope to be able to use three blacklights to change between only yellow, both yellow and blue and only blue glow. All help is greatly appreciated.
