This is a reworded question that I asked here last week.

I need my bom.fmt file to generate a BOM (info>bill of material) that includes a parameter named "description". For some reason %description[-40] will reteive STRING type paramater info but not NOTE type parameter info.

Does anyone know of any good resource information that might help me locate a solution.

Try putting &description not %description.

To answer my own question:

It is not possible to ref. note params in the Bill of Material function.

If found that in the online help reference material.
