I have a 2003 Acura MDX

It would be great to be able to turn on the fog lights without having to turn on the headlights.

It would also be great to turn on the fog lights without having to turn on the parking lights.

Also you may notice that if you turn on the high beams, the fog lights cut out. It would be nice if this were not the case.

I have the schematic but do not know how to post it.

Is this asking for too much?

The high beams....it's illegal to run auxilary lighting with the high beams.

At least in Virginia it is also illegal to run auxilliary lights without the low beams. I think it is because you could use the aux lights to elude the poice, if you were so inclined, without showing any taillights or license lights.

The fog lights on my wife's 2001 Lincoln LS can be turned on without the headlights which make them ACTUALLY useful when the fog gets heavy around here!!! Running lights come on, too, Blacksmith. Just no headlights.

Maybe the laws have changed Rod, but my '99 F-150 has a rotary/pull switch; all the way clockwise turns on the headlights and enables you to pull out and turn on fog lights, turning back to the parking light position cams the switch in, extinguishing the fog lights. Different strokes

It might be a good idea to stick a relay in there somewhere unless your fond of the smell of burning insulation!!!
