How I know it's food grade or not because there is for industrial use

Thank you

It is usually not required to use food grade sodium hydroxide for potable water applications. After all, sodium hydroxide is just a basic commodity chemical.

However, if you want potable water grade chemicals (Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals), you can spend a little more and get NSF60 approved grade for potable water.

See the link. You may also contact the manufacturers directly.

The same manufacturers sell the "food grade" quality chemicals as well.

Dear bimr,
Thank you very much for your answer I really appreciate that
please let me know if there is another Alternatives for NSF60 (European Union). and please what can you tell me about Food Chemical Codex edition 7 for sodium hydroxide

Regards

Don't have anything for the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC). Not sure it would be helpful.

If you look up Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) on Worldcat, you probably will be able to find one in a library near you.
