Hello colleagues

I need to model in Abaqus a force which changes its x y and z components over time. I have a tabular data showing me in which time what x y and z corresponds. How can i do that ?

thanx in advance !

That's simple. Split your table and create 3 amplitudes with x vs. time, y vs. time and z vs. time. Then create 3 loads (so one in each direction) and assign the corresponding amplitude to each load.

can you explain me deeper how amplitude works ?

I made some but cant match time increments and steps, so cannot calculate the results.

in the same step if i use the same force but without amplitude, then it solves, which makes me thing the rest is OK...

An amplitude scales the load definition, depending on the current time at what the increment is solved. When the user has not defined amplitudes, then default amplitudes are used, depending on the current procedure.

The incrementation is not controlled by the amplitude, so the user has to use the step settings to influence the incrementation.

I would recommend to learn the Abaqus basics first. The Getting Started in the Abaqus documentation is a good start.
