Forcing a diameter dimension in a detail view

In NX4 I have a couple detail views (the little circular window) of a cylindrical part side view.

I can't figure out how to force a diameter dimension. I can select one side, but the other side is outside the circular window, so all I an get is the radius (the 4.235 dimension in the attached JPG). I want an 8.47 dia.

Is this possible?

Yes, a few ways. Pick the opposite edge in another view and turn off the dimension and extension lines as well as the arrow on that side. If another view is not available, enlarge the detail boundaries until you can see theopposite edge, apply dimension and resize view to original size.
You can also pick the edge then the centerline (in whatever view is available) to produce a cylindrical dimension. You still have to edit the dimension lines though.
