Ford ECC IV Sensors

I have a 1990 ford SuperCoupe 3.8L supercharged motor welded on a engine stand. I have the motor running, I need to now what needs to be connected to have it run correctly. Looking at the diagrams there's feedback circuits for power stearing break on/off and so on.. I not concerned about getting errors on them just that it will run propertly.

I assume you want to operate as a complete engine control system so you need the EEC to interface with the following,
inputs,
1. engine coolant sensor ECT.
2. air charge sensor ACT.
3. 2 ox sensors OX .
4. ignition system TFI.
5. mass air sensor MAF.
6. egr valve and control hardware EGR.
7. throttle position sensor TPS.
8. speed sensor on the transmission VSS.
9. canister purge valves CANP.
10. fuel injector control.
Without all the communications, the eec will not present the correct running overall control.
This may or may not result in fault codes stored in memory and altered running parameters if the fault codes take the computer to the extreme ends of the program tables in an effort to correct the problem.
The EEC v has the ability to learn operating parameters both forward and backward to the range of about + or - 10%.
This ability giveS the system a way to compensate for hardware tolerences, fuel differences, air temp changes.
This peticular engine setup does not have the direct ability to adjust for barametric pressure changes as many other Ford engine systems have by using either a BAP or a MAP sensor.
 
Thanks.. I do have all those controls connected. And I do have the BAP connected. I was going to check the voltage on the o2 sensors to make sure its not running learn or rich. Is it safe to say if the o2 are managing the mixture property all is good? Think i'll see any performance issues?
 
Check for codes stored in the EEC.
If you have a MIL lamp connected it will lite if something is not right.
Non working OX sensors will cause the engine to go to a default fuel table.
This table is a bit richer so no harm is done to the engine.
You mentioned a BAP; The drawing I referenced didnot use one so you must be using another models' layout.
What are you trying to accomplish with this project?
 
I checked again,it definitely has a BAP, its a supercharged motor. I bought the car with a bad motor and put a new long block in it. I drove it for a couple years, the car started to need other things. So i pulled it and welded to a engine stand. Once i get it running good i was either going put it in my old 1988Mazda pickup or sell it. The thunderbird it came out of weight about 4300lbs it really moved. i thought it would be fun in a 2700lbs truck.
 
Ok, Nice to play with those things.
For some strange reason I missed that the motor was SC.
I run a Kenne Bell blower on a Speed Density 5L in a Lincoln Mark VII at close to 4000 lbs with driver and full tank of gas.
