Hello,
I am installing a new hydraulic 220 Ton press weighing 33 TONS, and trying to define the foundation requirements.
By comparison, have a 26 TON press in operation for the last 20 years that has NO CONCRETE pit under the floor,
and is supported by only by isolation pads under the press feet. There has been no floor damage from this press,
or other problems.
The manufacturer is recommendig a 7 FOOT Deep concrete pad under the floor.
Can anyone suggest a validated approach to determining the foundation requirment, or
professional resources to accomplish this?
Much appreciated. This community has been very helpful.
Thanks.
