Dear all,

I am modeling an Aluminum plate fractured by impact loading. Find the picture ATTACHED. It is not separated and behaves like gum.

Can you please advise?

Is material damage included and element removal enabled ? Make sure that you have STATUS variable requested as field output and that "Use status variable" box is checked in Result —> Field Output —> Status Variable.
