Hay guy's, what do you think,
I saw a generator that produces 20amps at 110volts. It takes a 5hp. Gas engine running at 3600rpm to produce this amperage.
Now I see for sale a 5hp. Electric motor (no capacitors) that runs at 3600rpm. Using 18.5amps. to start, and 15amps. to run.
Shouldn't the generator run the motor and in turn run it self (when kick started) with 5amps. left to spare?
