Free old structural books 5

There are several old structural engineering books free for download on google books, I mean very old, because the copyright has expired. Lots of rivet info and such. Click download at the top right side of the book preview screen. If you don't like the structural books you might find some other topic on there.

Not all the books are downloadable. Those that are have a "download" in the upper right hand corner.

A search for 'Civil Engineering' seems to yield more donwloadable books.

There is even one called:

"Rudimentary Dictionary of Terms Used in Architecture, Civil, Architecture, Naval, Building and Archaeology"

This might be a good link next time someone posts looking for a dictionary...

The "Mechanics for Millrights" looks like a good read with an opening line like this...

Great link, heynewp! There are some 19th century books on bridge design at the Lehigh University "Digital Bridges Library". Somewhat awkward to read them, but the total content of each books is there
