Kristjan:

There is a whole range of cost estimating software both in price and complexity. You can start with a simple spreadsheet set up, which is used by many contractors. If you look in any trade publication like Engineering News Record or Building Design & Construction they all have advertisements for software packages. You can also do a search on the web. R.S. Means Co. and Constructive Computing have mid-range programs. Timberline and MC^2 (MC Squared) are two top of the line programs for sale, they are expensive but, they are also very comprehensive. It all depends on how much estimating you plan to do and how complex the projects are. All these references are to USA programs.

Good luck in your search.
