Bula guys,

I am doing some calculations for free roofs with a pitch of around 40 degrees, from table B.5 of AS/NZS 1170.2, the only roof pitches considered are up to 30 degrees. can anyone advise what to do in this situation, do i refer back to section 5 for enclosed structures for my roof pitch, or use 30 degrees in Table B.3. Please advise and attach any references (papers, codes etc).

Thanks
JD

You could try looking up other codes to see if they cover that range. Try BS EN 1991-1-4:2005+A1:2010/EN 1991-1-4:2005+A1:2010(E) - 7.2.5 Duopitch roofs.
Being a Eurocode you should be able to download a copy for free.
