I've looked around but I cannot find a free viewer out there for a AutoCAD/dwg drawing. I tried to download one from Autodesk's web site but there were technical issues. Google searching I found a few sites.....but my malware protector is not liking the sites.

Does anyone know of a good source for a free viewer?

Within its (mostly 2D) capabilities, Draftsight can display .dwg drawings.
I have gotten it to generate and display simple 3D objects, but it can't do Boolean operations on them.
It _may_ be able to display a complex 3D object; I have not tried to do so.

...and, boy is it slow. Faster for me to copy the *.dwg to a stick and run it through Bricscad on my laptop... and, Autodesk hasn't figured out how to rent it, yet

Going back decades, the free viewers from Autodesk have always been bloated, super slow, and very buggy. Making a good impression is apparently not high on their list of priorities.

... except for Fusion 360, which is free for a month and inexpensive thereafter, and which seems capable of taking away a lot of business from Dassault Solidworks.
