Freeware Converter of Shape Files to .dwg

I have some GIS data that is in .shp/.shx formats. I am using AutoCAD LT 2006 and I am not able to open/import shape files. Is there a freeware package out there that will convert .shp/.shx to .dwg/.dxf?

You can try GRASS. If it's good enough for the USACE then it should do dwg and shp files.

You can do this with the SHP2BLK Express Tool. I am not sure if it will work in LT.
